They said that it couldn’t be done, that I was fool for even trying. But I proved them wrong. I got a cumulative 4.0 grade point average in both my undergraduate and graduate years of college.
Read that in the movie trailer guy’s voice, and it sounds even more awesome. But, really, I did get laughed at for going into college wanting a 4.0 cumulative GPA. Most people told me that it was impossible and that trying would ruin my college experience. Yet, I saw other people do it. Was it rare? Yes. Was it difficult to do? Yes. Was it impossible? No. It turns out, getting a perfect GPA is pretty formulaic. This part of my blog discusses what I’ve learned about getting a 4.0 GPA. This isn’t a perfect system, but I honestly believe that other people can use what I’ve learned to either obtain a 4.0 GPA, or to at least improve their GPAs or get good GPAs. I try to post advice columns every other week on this topic. So welcome, and here we go!
