I thought that the Sierras could put off fall and winter for little bit longer considering that winter took FOREVER to leave during this year’s "spring." But, apparently, that’s not the case. So, fine fall. You win.
It's been too long since I've done a Picture Post. So, here are some of the animals that The Ranger and I saw on a recent visit to an animal sanctuary.
Sagebrush flowers. Although this picture shows the flowers during the winter, I figured that it would be appropriate considering that the sagebrush is now in full bloom here. Hello allergies!
At the Foot of the Sierras
